Motivation is a myth, more energy less fatigue.

The Struggle

Starting strong, then fizzling out when results slow or life gets busy.

Coach Cubs Solution

  • Identity before action: Instead of “I need to work out,” think “I’m an athlete at life movement is part of who I am.” Identity makes habits stick.

  • Build a system: Motivation fades; systems keep you going. Create non-negotiables (like brushing your teeth).

  • Track wins: Keep a visible progress log (journal, app, sticky notes). Dopamine drives momentum, release those feel good homones!

  • Accountability: Join a community, give me a call! plan activities with a friend or a family member, even virtually. Consistency thrives on connection. Human beings are tribal we crave that connection!

  • 1% Rule: Stop trying to change your life overnight. Focus on improving just 1% each day an extra 10-minute walk, one more glass of water, one more hour of sleep. Over time, those micro choices compound into transformation. Small doesn’t mean insignificant it means sustainable!

  • Train your energy: Low energy days, movement gives energy; it doesn’t take it away. The trick: adjust intensity. If you’re exhausted, don’t skip movement scale it. Swap heavy squats for a walk, yoga flow, or stretching. Consistency keeps the fire burning.

  • Reframe falling off track: You didn’t fail; you paused. Life isn’t linear, and neither is progress. Instead of starting over every Monday, continue from where you left off. That’s how consistency is built. Not perfection.

  • Keep Nutrition Simple! The basics work, you don’t need a diet with a name, you need a plan that fits your lifestyle.

    -Eat protein with every meal.

    -Half your plate veggies.

    - Drink water before caffeine.

    -Don’t skip meals, fuel early.
You don’t need a diet with a name; you need a plan that fits your lifestyle.

  • Your environment shapes you, I am BIG on environment: Your habits are only as strong as your surroundings.
Set up visual cues keep your water bottle in sight, leave your trainers by the door, prep snacks you actually enjoy.
Design an environment that supports your best self, not your tired one.

Motivation is A Myth, Motivation what gets you started.
Discipline and identity are what keep you going.
You’ll never always “feel like it” so stop waiting to. Act first, feelings follow.
